A peaceful lake community, this neighborhood has that serene, chill vibe going on. You may often catch neighbors working in their yard or heading out for their morning jog. The Holland Lakes community contains about 150 homes. Residents get to enjoy a serene walking trail which runs through wooded areas alongside Buck Creek. You forget you're in a subdivision when you head down this trail because you're surrounded by mature trees and nature. Three different lakes are found throughout the community so a lot of the homes feature a lake view from their backyard patios. One of the best things is undoubtedly its convenience to the Hwy 31 and I-65. You can access both roads in less than five minutes. You're a 2 minute walk from Walgreens and only a 3 minute drive to Home Depot. Publix is a whopping 6 minute drive! And Pelham Oaks Elementary is right there beside Publix. Railroad tracks run alongside Holland Lakes so residents occasionally may be stopped by the train as they come and go and of course will probably hear the train too. But nobody seems to complain. These are a bunch of happy campers and I can't blame them. It really is a great place to live.
